Cozumel Beach Clubs

The island of Cozumel has many great beach clubs where you can spend the day relaxing by the sea with a cocktail and a bite to eat. The island is accessible by ferry from downtown Playa del Carmen, which is a 35 minute drive from Gate48. Here are a few beach clubs that we recommend you check out when you visit:

DEL MAR LOUNGE

Monday to Saturday 10am-10pm, Sundays 10am-8pm

This place serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, with a menu that includes hamburgers, sandwiches, seafood, and Mexican dishes. There is no cover charge for access.

THE MONEY BAR

This place is open on weekends until 11pm, with live music from 6pm-9pm. Enjoy a mixture of rock, funk, pop, cumbia, salsa, merengue on Thursdays with dance music on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. They have an international menu, with items such coconut shrimp, shrimp mummy, rotisserie chicken, burgers and pasta.

Activities available include snorkel, paddleboards, and kayaking. Tours are available to “El Cielo”, as well as  fishing tours and snorkel tours. There are chairs to sit on and enjoy the view, and happy hour is from 5pm-7pm.

NO NAME BAR

This place has sunloungers, parasols, a pool bar, kayaks and the option for diving. They are open from 8am-11pm.

MR SANCHOS

Open from 8am-5.30pm, they have good prices, great fried fish, a variety of drinks. There is a pool to swim in, inflatable games for rent and beach chairs.

PARADISE BEACH

Open Monday to Saturday, 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-5pm

This place requires a minimum purchase of $10USD in food and beverages. Visitors have access to beach umbrellas, use of the pool, and lounge chairs for $3 USD. Their Fun-pass gives you unlimited play time with the kayaks, snorkel gear, stand up paddle boards, coconut tree climb, water trampolines, water mats, climbing iceberg, water slide, and a floating multi-tiered Jungle Joe climbing structure.

Activities and services available include parasailing, waverunner rentals, banana boat rides, hair-braids, temporary tattoos, and massages on the beach.
