Naum Spa at Mayakoba Resort

There are many great spas located in the Riviera Maya and in today’s blog we are going to talk about Naum Spa, located north of Playa del Carmen in the Andaz Mayakoba resort. It’s a 5 minute drive from Gate48 and is situated on a 10,000-square-foot facility in the center of Mayakoba.

Naum is the Mayan God of consciousness and mind and the spa’s treatments were developed based on native Mayan traditions known as rituals. Each Ritual is done as a three part experience: they begin with a Mayan Time of Reflection, followed by the treatment experience, and wrapping up with a Mayan Celebration. The purpose is to help you balance and reconnect with yourself and the universe.

Here are the 3 Rituals that Naum Spa has available:

Naum Ritual of the Body: this includes exfoliation, deep hydration and a nurturing massage or body balancing treatment
Naum Ritual of the Face: this is a deep cleansing experience, personalized treatment plan and personalized protection for the individual’s skin type including a facial massage and treatment mask
Naum Ritual of Massage: a customized spa experience with options such as hot stones, bespoke aromatherapy blends, Swedish or deep tissue massage

Every aspect of your treatment is customized. When you arrive at the spa the therapists will work with you to determine which ritual is right for you. You can also choose to take part in an interactive aromatherapy bar where they can design their own custom products and scents.

Ritual experiences are 75-minute, 90-minute or 120-minutes long, with prices starting at $190. Naum Spa also offers additional services such as hairstyling, waxing, skincare, yoga and meditation. The facility also includes a 24-hour state-of-the-art gym and three outdoor pools. So what are you waiting for? Make the most of your visit to Gate48 by pampering yourself, treating your body to an authentic Mayan experience that is unique to the Riviera Maya.
