We have put a short list together of places that we recommend, along with a brief description of their menus.
Del Cielo is a bakery and coffee-shop that serves up a terrific breakfast. Eggs, pancakes, muffins, breads, fruit, toast, and smoothies. They also serve up Mexican molletes, which are hollowed bread buns filled with frijoles refritos, cheese and slices of jalapeño or serrano pepper.
Fresco’s serves breads, jams, and oats, freshly-made pancakes accompanied and fresh fruit. Toast comes with options of butter, jam, brie cheese, cream cheese, honey, agave, bacon, tomatoes, avocado, eggs, olive oil.
Ginger Hotel & Restaurant is a great place for those of you looking for an authentic Mexican breakfast. From chilaquiles and huevos rancheros to eggs a la Mexicana, this place will and even the traditional old breakfast (fruit, toast, orange juice).
Raw Love is a place dedicated to healthy eating and will appeal to anyone who wants to starts the day off right. Their breakfast is based on raw vegan cuisine, so meat lovers who expect sausage and bacon with their meal will be disappointed. They serve up fruit bowls, smoothies and delicious cakes (go for the carrot one, trust us). The menu is not big, but the high level of nutrition in their food more than makes up for it.
Tunich has a large variety of Mexican dishes, and also serves up pancakes, burritos, and fruit smoothies.
